Argentina will investigate plan of Macri and Trump that intended to invade Venezuela

The Defense Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Vladimir Padrino López, held a telephone conversation with his counterpart from Argentina, Jorge Taiana, to thank the start of an investigation into the leaked “PUMA exercise” that contemplated an invasion of Venezuela during the right-wing government of former president Mauricio Macri.

The operation was revealed by a publication by the Cohete A La Luna (Rocket to the Moon9 website, based on secret military intelligence documents, which reveal that in 2019 Macri engaged the Armed Forces in a possible military intervention by the United States in Venezuela, for which were carried out military maneuvers on Argentinean soil between April and July of that same year:

“As a result of this information, I have requested an exhaustive and detailed report of all the actions related to said exercise called ‘Puma’, verifying if the current regulations were complied with, (also) the Law on Intelligence, Defense, Internal Security, as well as the nature and objectives of said exercise”, detailed Taiana prior to the telephone conversation.
