Padrino López’s balance: FANB seized 25% more drugs in 2021 than in 2020

During 2021, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), registered in 2021 25% more seizures of drugs and illicit substances than in 2020, reported this Tuesday the Minister of People’s Power for Defense, G / J Vladimir Padrino López from Fort Tiuna in Caracas.

By offering a balance on the main achievements of the different components of the FANB during the year that is ending, Padrino López announced that our Armed Forces have 200 active projects, arising from the FANB’s Scientific and Technological Council, to provide logistical solutions and techniques to the needs of the people.

In the framework of the end of the year salutation by the Constitutional President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the FANB to the military troops from all over the country, Padrino López emphasized that 2021 “was a year of great significance as a turning point for the continuity of the Bolivarian Revolution”.

In this sense, he mentioned the multidimensional attacks suffered by the country, aggressions in the face of which the components of the FANB have maintained firmness and high morals to ensure respect for the sovereignty, constitutionality and peace of the people.

We have firmly placed ourselves at the forefront of imperial aggressions, we have responded from the Armed Forces with initiatives and solutions to problems. This has turned us into a huge expectation because we have discovered capabilities that were hidden from our soldiers”, he stressed.

In this regard, he recognized the efforts made by the men and women of the FANB in ”the recovery of the weapons system and its adaptation, complying with the instructions of the President of the Republic, to confront the entire avalanche of attacks against the country.”

He added the action of the FANB, attached to the Constitution and the Laws, through the Republic Plan “in the last regional and municipal elections (where) we once again certified with our own eyes the authenticity and transparency of the Venezuelan electoral process,” he said.

He finally reiterated that the FANB continues loyal to the Homeland, “loyal to the Constitution of the Republic and loyal to you as leader, President and Commander-in-Chief, irrevocably and unswervingly in any circumstance,” said Minister Padrino López.
