1,035 new infections of Covid-19, of which 1,033 cases were community transmissions and 2 imported cases, were detected in Venezuela in the last hours.
The vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that Carabobo is the state that registered the most community cases of the virus, 204 infections are active in 10 of the 14 municipalities of the central entity; followed by Mérida state with 157 cases, and Monagas state with 100 cases.
Rodríguez lamented the death of 11 Venezuelans from Coronavirus, specifically 6 men and 5 women aged 54 to 84, which brings the death toll to 5,115 people.
The general statistics of the Covid-19 in Venezuela, contemplate a total of infections of 428,453, a 97 percent of recovered patients that in numbers sum 415,284, and 8,054 current active cases.
