The sabotage attempt did not affect the preparations for the 2021 Regional and Municipal Elections, called for next Sunday, November 21.
The president of the National Electoral Council, Pedro Calzadilla, reported that the electoral schedule is being developed according to what is expected.
The CNE works closely with all citizen security bodies to guarantee custody of the electoral process with the Plan República (Republic Plan – Military custody and safeguarding plan for the electoral process).
