President Maduro rejects Bolsonaro’s statements regarding vaccines

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, described his Brazilian counterpart, Jair Bolsonaro as irresponsible, for stating that patients vaccinated against Covid-19 could develop HIV-AIDS:

“Jair Bolsonaro said Coronavirus was a flu and another sort of crazy things, typical of a right-wing extremist”, said the Venezuelan Head of State.

President Maduro acknowledged the global scientific development that seeks to stop the pandemic and save lives and advocated for the people of Brazil who have been hit by the virus.

Due to the terrible management of the pandemic carried out by Bolsonaro, Brazil ranks third in the number of infections by Covid-19 in the world.
