The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Sunday that the months of November and December will be of flexible quarantine, with the aim of supporting the country’s economic and commercial reactivation process, which will result in happiness and social security for the Venezuelan people:
“Venezuela will begin safe and conscious flexibilization from November 1 to December 31, and the 7 + 7 method(*) will be temporarily suspended from that date”, he confirmed.
He stressed that this decision was based on the proposals and reports established by the Presidential Commission for the fight and treatment against Covid 19, taking into account the progress in the national vaccination program and the intensification of awareness and compliance with biosafety regulations in all areas of national life.
In this regard, he announced that the necessary steps are being taken to acquire more vaccines to start the reinforcement plan from January 2022.
(*): 7 + 7 refers to the inter-week flexible quarantine scheme method that has been implemented by the National Executive to help curb the incidence of covid-19 cases in the country.
