The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, Félix Plasencia, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Vershinin, held a bilateral meeting on Monday in the context of the 60th anniversary of the NAM, which takes place in Belgrade, capital of Serbia.
The authorities discussed what will be the 15th Meeting of the High Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN) Russia-Venezuela that will be held on October 14 and 15 in the city of Moscow.
CIAN Russia-Venezuela Venezuela has held 14 meetings, four of them, meetings with co-presidents that have made it possible to strengthen 20 areas of cooperation, among which the following stand out: energy, military and transportation.
The relations and ties of brotherhood between Russia and Venezuela have been strengthened in the last 20 years, thanks to the strategic vision of Commander Hugo Chávez, which today has been consolidated by President Maduro, and that of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
