The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela supports the Initiative for Global Development presented by the People’s Republic of China in the General Assembly of the United Nations.
In a communiqué subscribed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, he manifested to agree with the proposal of the President of China, Xi Jinping, to apply measures in macroeconomic matters, innovation, coexistence, cooperation, food security, financing, industrialization, digital economy, interconnectivity, among other subjects, for the well-being of peoples and nature.

Venezuela thanked China for the assistance in economy and health matters to combat Covid-19, and reaffirmed its support to continue uniting nations and cooperating under the principles of respect, equality and in the defense of multilateralism.
