A total of 855 new community Covid-19 infections, of which 37 cases are imported, were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, with 336,088 accumulated cases to date and 320,400 patients healed.
The entity with the highest number of infections on this journey is Caracas, with 256 active infections in 20 of its 22 parishes. The states that follow it are Cojedes with 182, Miranda with 140, Lara with 60 and Yaracuy with 40 cases.
The imported cases come from Panama (12), the Dominican Republic (10), Turkey (10) and Spain (5) and entered through La Guaira state. It was also reported the unfortunate death of 13 new victims to add 4,039 deaths to date.
