Dialogue table must propose return of Monomeros company

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, proposed to prepare a document to be signed by all associations of agricultural and agro-industrial producers in the country, which requires the return of the Monomeros company to its parent company Pequiven: “Monomeros is of Venezuela!!” emphasized Maduro.

During the development of a new Productive Wednesday journey, the Head of State stressed that the priority of Venezuela in the Dialogue Table is the economic issue and the recovery of the assets that belong to the Venezuelan people which are kidnapped abroad:

A clear, direct, forceful and official document from all Venezuelan producers, so that the plenipotentiary for Venezuela – Jorge Rodríguez – takes as a fundamental point in the first session of the dialogue and negotiation of Mexico, the signing of a document so that the Monomeros company will return to Pequiven, to PDVSA, to the country, as a company that supplies our nation with its production”, said the national president.

This was stated by President Nicolás Maduro after hearing the position of the associations that participated in the productive coordination meeting between Pequiven, State entities and the Venezuelan Agricultural sector, which agreed on the need to recover Monomeros during said meeting held in Caracas:

“I agree and am ready to achieve it (…) it could be one of the first common measures of the dialogue in Mexico for the economic recovery of the country”, he added.

“If everything is being put into place, Monomeros has to return to its owners, to its parent company, so that all Monomeros products come to the national market to contribute to the economic recovery of Venezuela”, he insisted.
