Menéndez pointed out that the generation of the budget is a political exercise, from the direction of public policy, and the fulfillment of the Homeland Plan: “We comply with the premise that the President of the Republic has raised that we must continue to intensify in the construction of the Homeland Plan and not hide, in any way, behind what are the difficulties linked to coercive measures, to aggression imperialism that has been given against our country, and of course the adaptation that has to do with the cases of the pandemic”, said Menéndez.

The sectoral vice president explained that the realization of this budget is a joint work that is carried out from different levels of the entire Bolivarian Government, with a leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning from the bases. In that sense, the minister mentioned the four priority lines that will be worked on by the Bolivarian Government for 2022: a) Right to sovereign development of the country; b) Territorialization of public policies that allow linking with the specific needs of the population; c) Economics of maintenance; d) To build higher levels of protection for the people.

Finally, Vice President Menéndez said that the three-year period to close this phase of the 2022-2025 Homeland Plan, will be one of growth for the Venezuelan economy: “A phase where we are going to say that they could not with the coercive measures and that the right to development is based on Venezuelans as a fundamental element for the defense of our sovereignty and our independence”, concluded the minister.
