COVID: Venezuela will begin week of radical quarantine

From Monday, June 28 to Sunday, July 4, 2021, Venezuela will be under a radical quarantine to control the pandemic.

The Bolivarian Government urges the population to take extreme biosecurity measures to avoid new Covid-19 infections.

Sixty-seven weeks after the first case of Coronavirus was registered in the country, the total number of infections is 269,635, with 250,528 patients recovered , 16,039 and a total number of deaths of 3,068.

In the last 24 hours, 1,286 cases were reported in Venezuela, 150 of them in Barinas state, 146 in Apure and 146 in Cojedes.

Sadly, 13 compatriots, between 45 to 76 years old have lost their lives. On behalf of President Nicolas Maduro, condolences are sent to their families, friends and acquaintances.
