COVID: Venezuela begins radical quarantine week

From Monday, June 14 to Sunday, June 20, Venezuela will be under a radical quarantine. This was reported by the vice president of the Bolivarian Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

Prevention is the antidote to Covid-19, in this sense, the senior official urged the people to raise levels of awareness and discipline to combat the virus.

455 days after the appearance of the first case of Coronavirus in the country, the total number of infections is 251,686, with 231,558 patients recovered, 17,299 active cases and the total number of deaths is at 2,829.

In the last 24 hours, 1,377 cases of community transmission Covid-19 were registered, and in Yaracuy, Lara and Falcón states were detected 350, 206 and 89 cases respectively.

Unfortunately 15 Venezuelans, ages between 52 and 83, lost their lives to the virus.
