ALBA-TCP described Mexico’s electoral journey as historic

The elections to elect the 500 members of the Chamber of Deputies, 15 Governors and thousands of local authorities in Mexico, have an important value for Latin America and the Caribbean.

This was expressed by the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA-TCP), Sacha Llorenti, who, on behalf of the integration body, participated as an international companion.

The ruling party, Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (National Regeneration Movement) and its allies, won nine of the fifteen governorships, according to preliminary results.

During the stay of the head of (ALBA-TCP) Sacha Llorenti in Mexico, were held a series of meetings with authorities from that country, and with the ambassadors of Bolivia, Nicaragua and Iran.
