"Those who are able to kneel before imperialism, are not rewarded by the peoples"

Diosdado Cabello, deputy to the National Assembly, said on Wednesday that the latest attacks against the independence and sovereignty of Venezuela, are largely based on the repeated interventionist statements by the secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, who has been part of the US aggression against the South American country.
“Today the OAS is worse than at any time, at the service of imperialism (…) Almagro has no moral or authority whatsoever to speak of our country or to intervene in anything from here in Venezuela, due to the position he has taken, shamelessly, against a legal, constituted, democratic, constitutional government, such as is the government of comrade Nicolas Maduro”.
“Those who are able to kneel before imperialism, are not rewarded by the peoples, but end up being forgotten by them”, said Cabello.
During the program broadcast by Venezolana de Television, “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer) and which is led by the Deputy, he said that it is necessary to ensure unity within the continent to deal with the interference of foreign powers to maintain peace and stability in the region.
“When that happens, what the US is doing, what calls to the order, to the logic, is that the governments and peoples must be more united ourselves. We make a call on the Latin American and Caribbean unity”, he said.
He also referred to the constant mechanisms that has implemented the Government of the United States to defeat left wing governments that emerged in Latin America in 1998, the year when Commander Hugo Chavez became President of Venezuela, who took care of giving a voice to the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.
