“We are going for two continuous weeks of radical quarantine, as always coordinating that the activities of the priority sectors continue to develop without problems. We already have the experience to handle a strict radical quarantine and we will be able to advance in the control of the P.1 and P.2 variants ”, he explained during the customary presentation of the Sunday balance of COVID-19.
In this sense, the Head of State stressed that the competent authorities will maintain permanent vigilance for compliance with the radical quarantine, an action that includes reducing the mobility of the population and non-essential banking and commercial activities.
During a videoconference with the Presidential Commission for the Attention, Prevention and Control of COVID-19, he authorized the reactivation of the prevention brigades, the spatial location of active cases in communities through the Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), as well as the monitoring of suspected and confirmed cases.
