The Venezuelan diplomat quoted a tweet published by the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez, where he shows the balance of the Cuban Medical Mission in Venezuela during this year 2020.
“Among extraordinary results, more than 110 million investigations to detect COVID-19 stand out. Congratulations to the more than 20,000 heroes in white coats, paradigms of humanism that Fidel instilled in us,” said Rodríguez.
For his part, the head of the island’s collaboration missions in Venezuela, Julio César García, made a balance of the work carried out, work that he described as successful because the country managed to manage the pandemic and avoid a general collapse: “With material limitations and financial, the human resources prepared by the Revolution were put to the test ”.
To conclude, the head of the Cuban Medical Mission, Reinol García, asserted that to date they are better prepared than ever, “times of struggle, regrowth, but also hope and victories await us.”
