Special Commission strengthens investigative process to determine those responsible in Güiria case

The National Executive, given the existence of mafias that traffic with the needs of the humble people of this sector, formed a Special Commission that strengthens the investigative process to determine those responsible for the tragedy on the coast of Güiria, Sucre state, in which 23 people lost their lives: “So far, 21 bodies have been identified, which have been handed over to their families, amidst deep sorrow.”

This was reported by the National Government this Wednesday, through an official statement published by the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, which indicates that the authorities detained two citizens, one of them, the owner of the boat, who has a criminal record for the crimes of drug trafficking and illicit human trafficking; and the owner of the hacienda from which the boat departed.

The National Government informs on the recent findings related to the investigation being advanced regarding the tragedy happened in Sucre state, which has made Venezuelan families mourn.

For today, the sum of victims for this fact ascends to 23 deceased, and until now it has been achieved the identification of 21 corpses that have been delivered to their families, amidst deep sorrow.

Likewise, have been apprehended two citizens, one of them the owner of the boat, who has a criminal record for the crimes of drig trafficking and illicit human trafficking, and the owner of the hacienda from which the boat departed. These people are giving information that is relevant to the effects of the investigation.
