Venezuela reached 93% of schooling throughout the country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Tuesday the State has managed to exceed 93% of schooling throughout the country.

During the graduation ceremony of the 1st promotion of Productive Bachelors within the framework of the 17th anniversary of Mission Ribas, the Head of State said that this figure is a record in comparison with the so-called governments of the fourth republic in Venezuela:

“When the oligarchy dominated the country, we did not exceed 45% of schooling,” he assured.

In this sense, he stated that currently 85% of education in Venezuela is public, free and of quality.

“Supported by the arm of the State such as initial, primary, secondary and university education.”

In the same way, he explained that the educational missions are the backbone for the Venezuelan people who require training.

“Only through education and culture will we be a free and developed homeland, because an abandoned and uneducated people would make us slaves,” he concluded.
