President calls on candidates not to neglect bio-safety measures during campaign

“To all the opposition and Bolivarian forces, I make a call: Beware of neglecting the bio-safety measures in the electoral campaign”, called the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the health journey he led this Sunday, November 8.

The Head of State made a call of attention in reference to the “great agglomeration of people in campaign acts”, celebrated recently, as well as to the negligence in the use of the mask, even by some candidates for this electoral process of December 6.

“I call as Head of State to all political forces, to the 107 political parties, to the 14,400 candidates who are going to these elections to take care of themselves and to put all the people who support them to take care of themselves, physical distancing, use of masks”, to avoid any resurgence of Covid-19 in any state of the country.”

To conclude, the National President pointed out that “That (a resurgence in COVID cases) must not happen, the political parties, the candidates must set an example in bio-safety. I ask you from my heart, for Venezuela”.
