COVID: Venezuela registers 404 new infections this Thursday

This Thursday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that in Venezuela a total of 404 new infections were registered in the country, of which 388 cases are community-based and 16 cases are imported (all coming from Colombia), in the course of of the last 24 hours.

This was announced by the Twitter social network, adding that unfortunately, 5 Venezuelans have died today from the virus: 2 41-year-old women from Barinas state, 1 50-year-old woman and 1 85-year-old man from Mérida state, and 1 man 74-year-old from Aragua state.

She also added that in the 33rd week, and the 228th day of quarantine after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in our territory, these are the general statistics of the virus:

– Total infections: 91,280

– Recovered patients: 85,897 (94%)

– Current active cases: 4,594

– Total deceased: 789

Finally, Delcy Rodríguez thanked the plenipotentiary National Constituent Assembly, which this Thursday approved the Annual Budget of the Nation 2021 within the framework of the anti-blockade strategy, allocating 76.4% to social investment, to continue guaranteeing protection to the entire people.
