Russia-Venezuela relationship has expression in multiple development areas

Relations between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela have an expression in multiple areas for the development of both peoples, as affirmed this Thursday the Minister for Foreign affairs, Jorge Arreaza:

“It is a relationship that goes to the economic reality of our countries, which has an energetic, industrial expression, in health matters, in many fundamental areas for both countries”, he said.

He expressed that it is a relationship linked to concrete facts, and highlighted the fraternity, sincerity and solidarity that characterizes both peoples, and particularly to the strategic relationships.

“It is not a relationship limited to the political scope, but it is linked to concrete facts”, he said during a press conference in Moscow.

Russia will exchange experience of Covid-19 vaccines:

Vaccines and clinical studies carried out by the Russian Federation against the Covid-19 pathogen will be exchanged with Venezuela:

“We agreed to exchange information on vaccines, on how clinical trials advance, and once their efficiency is confirmed, on how to be able to cooperate with Venezuela”, said Arreaza.

Arreaza also indicated that this initiative will also be extended to the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – People’s Trade Treaty (Alba-TCP).

In addition, he explained that he exposed to the Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, the situation of coronavirus in Venezuela, and they discussed the mechanisms for prevention and other measures to contain the pandemic.
