Venezuela confirms 136 Covid-19 positive cases and two deceased

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed this Wednesday 136 new positive Covid-19 coronavirus cases, which brings the total number of infected by the outbreak in the country to 1,955.

Rodríguez explained that 47 cases are of community transmission, and 86 cases are imported.

In this sense, the Executive Vice President detailed that, of the community cases, 28 are located in Zulia state, due to the focus of the Las Pulgas Market, in Maracaibo city, capital of the entity.

Regarding the imported cases, the Executive Vice President detailed that 50 are coming from Colombia.

During the telephone contact, the Executive Vice President reported the death of two people from coronavirus, which brings the death toll by the outbreak to 20.

She emphasized that these two deceased correspond to Zulia state, from the focus of the Las Pulgas market.
