ANC initiated process for the reform of the Judiciary Branch

The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, confirmed that this legislative body began to work in relation to the judicial reform at the request of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, to optimize legal practices:

«There must be a fair and just, timely justice. A justice that reaches whoever it has to reach”, said Cabello on Monday, at a press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), from Cumana, Sucre state.

Cabello said that the decision of the head of state arises from the firm commitment to “ensure justice for all Venezuelans; it will be a process on the part of the Executive to start working on everything related to the reform of the Judiciary branch»; the reform “is not only the judges, but also courts”, said the first vice president of the red party.

He added that the ANC “approved a Law Against Hate, we will approve the modification of the Law on the Right to Women, following the review that the partner has requested and we will do it.”

The leader of the red party said that the constituents have made progress in the approval and modification of laws due to the “contempt in which the National Assembly (AN) is located.
