President Maduro remembered the International Day in Memory of Victims of the Holocaust

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, remembered this Monday the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of Victims of the Holocaust in which were killed millions of men and women victims of violence and torture.

Through his account on the Twitter social network, the National President wrote: “The world remembers the millions of men and women, victims of violence and torture in the dire times of the Holocaust. The Bolivarian Revolution ratifies its willingness to promote a world free from prejudices and all forms of intolerance and violence”.

On January 27 is commemorated the liberation by the Soviet troops of the Nazi concentration and extermination camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945; The General Assembly of the United Nations officially proclaimed that date in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
