FANB will continue working on tasks that involve the activation of the Orange Alert

The defense minister, Vladimir Padrino López, ratified on Tuesday the commitment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to remain active and prepared to continue the tasks of protection of Venezuelan sovereignty against threats against the nation by the Colombian Government following orders from the US administration.
The senior military official wrote a message through his account on the Twitter social network to support the decision of the Venezuelan Government to continue the Orange Alert in the border area with Colombia whose objective is to neutralize any possible action of irregular Colombian armed groups in the national territory.
On Monday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the activation in phase two of the Orange Alert on the border with Colombia to prevent violent and paramilitary groups from the neogranadinean nation from entering the country.

“We must all continue working on the tasks involved in the activation of the ORANGE ALERT. The Colombian oligarchy persists in its desire to manufacture false positives at the border. Their actions will fail again and peace will prevail: WE ARE PREPARED TO MAINTAIN IT! https://twitter.com/nicolasmaduro/status/1181392331909533699…”
