The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the flourishing of relations between Venezuela and Russia, which have reached a higher degree in support and solidarity:
“Russia has been, in recent years, a fundamental support in several areas”, he said in an interview with the Russian TV channel Rossiya 24, where he especially highlighted the military technical cooperation, and energy, oil, gas, commercial and cultural issues.
He reiterated that Venezuela believes in and defends a multipolar, multicenter and balanced world, based on the thoughts of Liberator Simón Bolívar.
President Maduro arrived in Russia on Tuesday, in order to strengthen cooperative relations between the two nations and will also hold meetings with businessmen from that country, with the goal of energizing the different fields in economic and social matters.
