Istúriz: Trump's coercive measures seek to pressure the people to renounce its sovereignty

The unilateral coercive measures promoted by Donald Trump seek to pressure or force the people to renounce their sovereignty and independence, said the sector vice president for Social and Territorial Development, Aristóbulo Istúriz, in the company of the Executive Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement, Mervin Maldonado.
During the journey of signature collection carried out in the Bolívar square in Caracas to reject the economic blockade by Washington, Istúriz called on the people to stay in the Patria points located in the country’s squares: “We will explain to the Venezuelans the meaning of those aggressions that seek to violate our sovereignty, independence and peace”.
He announced that the members of the Somos Venezuela Movement will go house by house to explain in detail the magnitude of the US siege:
“All the social movements of the Bolivarian Congress of the Peoples, Missions and Great Missions are incorporated and mobilized in the streets”, added the vice president of the Social Cabinet.
For his part, the Minister of People’s Power for Youth and Sports, Pedro Infante, said that the goal is to demonstrate to the world and to the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization, António Guterres, that “they know that the Venezuelan people maintain their ideas of democracy and of struggle against the interventions of the North American empire”.
“Now all Venezuelans are willing to continue the same struggles as Commander Chavez did”, said Minister Infante.
