Arreaza: Correlation of forces in Latin America will return to the peoples

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, said Monday that “We will see how the correlation of forces in Latin America will return to the peoples. We will see how this conservative wave is reversed”.
“We are on the verge of a historic moment in Latin America”, said the Venezuelan diplomat in La Habana, where he participated in the Meeting of Solidarity with Venezuela organized by Cuban students and social movements of the University of Computing.
“Through elections in process, the people will say and we are on the verge of great victories, but we have to resist with force, like the resistance of Cuba and Venezuela”, he said.
He reiterated that the assessments on changes in the region will be decisive, although he apologized for not being able to comment more on the various electoral processes that will be developed in the continent this year.
Arreaza warned that the right-wing governments in the region seek to demolish the integration processes such as the Union of Southern Nations (Unasur), the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), among others, but the resistance is being done by the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our Americas (Alba-TCP) that meets in Cuba this week and for which he arrived this Monday in La Habana
