Cabello announced arrest of Edgar Zambrano for failed coup d'état

The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, announced the arrest of the deputy of the National Assembly in contempt, Edgar Zambrano, for his participation in the failed coup d’état on April 30.
During his “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program, he indicated that the right-wing legislator is one of the leaders, along with Juan Guaidó and Leopoldo López, of the seditious action that sought to overthrow the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro,.
“The guy is detained; he was arrested by the Sebin commission, he called and sent messages, then he locked himself in the car saying that he was not going to move thinking that the Sebin was going to believe that story, and thus they towed the car”, he explained.
Cabello revealed that at the time of his arrest, deputy Zambrano was charging nine thousand dollars in cash.
The ANC acquiesced on Tuesday the parliamentary immunity to Edgar Zambrano and six other parliamentarians for their active participation in the coup attempt.
