Chancellor Arreaza to Jeremy Hunt: The British people need a government that cares for their needs

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, stated this Wednesday in response to the position assumed by the British Foreign Minister, Jeremy Hunt, after the decision adopted by the National Constituent Assembly to waive the parliamentary immunity to the opposition deputy Juan Guaidó
In his Twitter account, Arreaza wrote that the “United Kingdom does not need an interventionist government, but one that deals with the most felt needs in its country and away from the path of political chaos”.
In reference to what was expressed by his British counterpart, who said to be disappointed by the “unjust” measures imposed on the self-proclaimed interim president of the nation, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister said that the British people are more disappointed in their government.
Hunt, on behalf of his government, acknowledged the opposition Juan Guaidó last January, pleading to the strategy outlined by the United States to pressure the ousting of the legitimate government of Nicolás Maduro.
