214 medical specialists graduated to provide free and quality service to the people


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led on Thursday the graduation act of medical specialists of the national public health system, in Fort Tiuna, Caracas.
214 graduates received from the hands of the Head of State and Government the certificate that certifies them as physicians for the prioritized areas.
He indicated that Venezuela is one of the few countries, along with Cuba and nations of the Alba (Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas) that is training health professionals to provide free and quality service to the people:
“All the graduates of this promotion will join as professors of the University of Health Sciences in each of their specializations, being trained to train!”, he said.
The national leader established the goal of reaching 100,000 community doctors and, of those 100,000, 50,000 specialists in all branches of health knowledge.
