Chancellor Arreaza highlighted new stage of relations with the UN

«The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela has signed two important agreements with UNICEF and with FAO as part of a dynamic that began on October 24 and that will set the tone for the coming years.»
This was stated Tuesday by Chancellor Jorge Arreaza when referring to the alliances signed between the Ministry of Education, the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) and the United Nations Organization for Alimentation and Agriculture (FAO).
From the spaces of the Casa Amarilla (Yellow House), the Venezuelan high official said that the Bolivarian Government fully assumed the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
«Venezuela has been fully incorporated and this is a recognition that the United Nations has given us. It’s good that they join in order to improve the conditions of the educational system of our schools and to produce part of what is used», he added.
The agreements signed between the UN and the National Government have among their main purposes to encourage agriculture in support of school feeding programs, contribute to the promotion of teaching maternal languages and mathematics, among other areas.
These agreements will reach 100,000 children living in prioritized states of the national territory.
