Maduro highlighted the role of the civic-military union in the technological independence of Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, was welcomed with honors this Tuesday in the hangar of the No. 16 Hunting Air Group, to participate in the central act of the 98th Anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation and the 26th Anniversary of the Civic-Military Rebellion of November 27, 1992.

During the activity, which took place at the Libertador air base, located between the towns of Palo Negro and Maracay, in Aragua state, the Venezuelan leader called for further defending the Homeland, and promised to maintain the country’s military aviation. in the levels of excellence that have always characterized it:

“We have to collectively commit to advance towards the technological and scientific independence of the entire weapons system of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, and especially of the Military Aviation”, stressed the Head of State.

The President highlighted that these actions, accompanied by the mystique of the military component and the Venezuelan people, are key to the future of the country’s independence:

“The strength of Venezuela is at the heart of the civic military union (…) I call for the maximum union, maximum moral, maximum awareness for an essential objective: The technological and scientific independence of our weapons system”, he said.
