Public Ministry is investigating Tumeremo case

The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, informed that the Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the case of the death of seven people in El Candado, Tumeremo, in Bolívar state.

In a press conference from the headquarters of the Prosecutor office, he explained that three prosecutors have been appointed to clarify the case: “I want to emphasize that two prosecutors of Common Crimes and one of Human Rights are in charge of this case”, he explained.

Saab emphasized: “We will not leave this unpunished, as we did not do so while being Ombudsman, that famous case also known as the Tumeremo massacre in 2016”.
