The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Monday the start-up of the Petro Blockchain.
The Superintendent of Crypto-assets and Related Activities, Joselit Ramírez, explained: “the transparency that supports Blockchain technology within the block chain facilitates the visualization of each and every transaction within the entire community. Petro in its own nature is transparency, is simplicity. It does not has any kind of pressure or speculation that they can use”.
Ramírez pointed out that the eyes of the world are focused on the country in a very positive way because it puts Venezuela at the forefront of the world, at the technological vanguard, for being the voice of the victims who are besieged under the hegemonic scheme of the global financial system.
The National President stressed that the purchase of Venezuelan digital currency can be acquired in other digital and international currencies
It was announced that next October 29 there will be a world event with (digital) miners to make a balance of the Venezuelan Petro.
