Maduro: Economic recovery requires the effort of all workers

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the economic recovery of the country requires the contribution of all workers:

“I ask the Venezuelan working class to think about the labor rights linked to the sustainable fiscal and tributary balance. Work is the center of the effort of economic recovery so that everyone has a salary that allows them to live”, wrote the head of state on the Twitter social network.

In another message, the President added that “The will of the Venezuelan people is unbreakable, there are no obstacles that can impede progress and overcoming difficulties”, in turn, he added that a sample of this is musician Juvel Campos, who appears in a video showing his talent despite having a disability.

He proposed that the Venezuelan working class should promote labor rights that are linked to sustainable fiscal and tax equilibrium.

The Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity Plan designed by the Executive includes the monetary reconversion, which has a new currency denominated Sovereign Bolívar, a new gasoline subsidy policy and the establishment of a single exchange rate, which will fluctuate in accordance to the auctions of the System of Exchange Rates of Floating Market Supplementary Exchange Rate (DICOM).

Since last Monday is circulating the new monetary cone, the Sovereign Bolivar (Bs S), which will be anchored to Petro, whose value will be Bs S 3,600. In that sense, the National Government set the minimum salary at Bs S 1,800, that is, half Petro.
