Chancellor Arreaza denounces media complicity with conspiracy in Venezuela

Two days after the assassination attempt against the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, questioned on Monday the treatment that the media and national and international communication agencies have given to the case:

“It was expected: means of in-communication and news agencies that respond to capital, underestimate the assassination attempt against President Nicolás Maduro. One more evidence of an open media complicity with conspiracy, violence and death”, denounced the Venezuelan Chancellor through his Twitter account @jaarreaza.

The attack, which has been cataloged by the National Government as an assassination in degree of frustration, was executed last Saturday during the celebration of the 81st anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) on Bolivar Avenue in Caracas.

Although the Head of the State was completely unharmed, the attack left a negative balance of seven wounded members of the military corps.
