Delcy Rodríguez: At one year of the ANC, peace has triumphed

“We will never forget those sad pages of history, where Venezuela was the victim of a script designed from Washington to attack the people without any distinction”.

This was highlighted on Monday by the Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during her participation in the celebration of the first anniversary of the election of the members of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).

From the spaces of the Bolívar Square in Caracas, Rodríguez highlighted the participation of all sectors of society in the constitution of the plenipotentiary body: “Nobody was left out, because it is the activation of the Venezuelan people to defend the Homeland”.

On July 30, 2017, 8,089,320 Venezuelan and Venezuelan elected the 537 of the 545 deputies to the ANC, after three months of violence generated by shock groups protected by sectors of the opposition, which left 121 dead, hundreds of injuries, as well as substantial material losses.
