A Commission of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), led by the lawyer and constituent María Alejandra Díaz, will investigate citizens who have engaged in actions to promote military intervention in Venezuelan territory, as reported by the Chairman of the plenipotentiary body, Diosdado Cabello.
“That commission should investigate press statements, events and activities that some Venezuelans have done, in order to establish their respective responsibilities”, he added from the Federal Legislative Palace in Caracas.
“This investigation commission will be chaired by the constituent María Alejandra Díaz and all constituents must be added, (…) and as I have always said, anyone who has called for an intervention in Venezuela has to be treated as an enemy of It is homeland and must be treated as a traitor to the Homeland”, emphasized Diosdado Cabello.
“This Constituent Power will open an investigation against all those who are requesting a humanitarian channel for Venezuela”, remarked the president of the ANC, As it may be recalled, the US president, Donald Trump, in August of last year raised the thought to invade Venezuela militarily , and this was confirmed on Wednesday by a senior US Government official to the US press agency Associated Press (AP).
