The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered on Tuesday to the ministers of People’s Power for Transport, Hipólito Abreu; and the Minister for Communes, Aritstóbulo Istúriz; to activate throughout the national territory the technical boards of community transport, to address the problems facing this sector: “to address the issue of transport is a central line of work”, he said.
From the Simón Bolívar Park at the La Carlota Air Base, in the framework of the inauguration of the Transmiranda (public transport system), the Head of State urged the mayors of the different municipalities of the country to activate themselves in solving the problems of public transport and indicated that they are prepared to invest and develop a maintenance plan for public transport units.
“To meet and get response, as well as solve solutions the Venezuelan people throughout the national territory, detailed, as well as stressed that the mission must be reactivated thorough transportation, which was a success in the years 2014, 2015, 2016” , he concluded.
