This week begins the second cycle of dialogue

For this second cycle have been summoned the intellectuals, cultures, teachers, commons, workers, peasants and youth. Thus was announced by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, on his Twitter account.

In a message published on Sunday, the Head of State said that the central task of these talks is to fine-tune the actions for the transformation of the economic model.

On Friday, June 1, President Maduro once again called on the opposition to dialogue: “I ratify my call to dialogue and not only the call to dialogue, but the practice of dialogue (…)”

The call was made minutes after the release of the first group of 39 leaders and opposition activists imprisoned crimes of political violence between the years 2014, 2015, 2016 and the “guarimbas” (riots) of 2017.
