The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received on Monday the credentials of the Ambassadors appointed by the Governments of Nicaragua, Iraq, South Africa and the Dominican Republic, in order to fulfill their services in the country.
The diplomats were received at Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, by the Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, in which they were given the corresponding military honors.
The first to arrive at Miraflores Palace was Yaoska Calderón Martín, Ambassador appointed by Nicaragua, a country with which Venezuela maintains bilateral relations of dynamism and development in the advancement of the strengthening of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (Alba).
The Ambassador appointed by Iraq, was Kasim Asker Hasan Ali, also handed over his credentials. Hasan Ali has been in the country since February 24 to fulfill his diplomatic commitments.
Likewise, the Head of State received the credential letter from Joseph Muzi Khehla Nkosi, designated Ambassador of South Africa, with whom Venezuela holds the bonds of cooperation and strategic alliances in the area of mining.
For the Government of the Dominican Republic, diplomat Mildred Guzmán Madera was appointed, who also presented her credential to the National President.
