Head of State advocates for dialogue within diversity

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed on Sunday the need to advance in the region towards dialogue with respect to political diversity.

“Venezuela claims respect for the political, ideological diversity, of models, for coexistence, dialogue and the strengthening of regional organizations”, said the Venezuelan President, who received a visit from his counterpart from the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Evo Morales.

The information was provided from the Presidential Palace of Miraflores, where President Maduro highlighted he spoke with his Bolivian counterpart, who this year will assume the baton of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) and the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) .

“That is our path. We have deepened in all these subjects to maintain the permanent dialogue “, emphasized the Head of State to the media, after his departure from the meeting.

The Head of State, on the other hand, mentioned that Morales sent him the messages of solidarity of the social movements that were present at the People’s Summit, which took place prior to the Summit of the Americas, where delegations also raised their voices in solidarity with Venezuela and in rejection of the exclusion of the Bolivarian Homeland from that event.

After this meeting, the Bolivian President was bid farewell by the Venezuelan Chancellor, Jorge Arreaza, at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía, Vargas State.
