The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the United States Government issued a statement demanding the suspension of the Presidential elections: “saying that they were against the advancement of the elections and that we should suspend them, I immediately sent an note of protest”, he explained.
From the Bolivar Square in Caracas, in a meeting with women, the Head of State said that on the same wave the Governments of Colombia and Spain were against the electoral advance in the Bolivarian country
He assured that in Venezuela there will be elections because the people is the one to decide the course of the country
