Istúriz assures dialogue is being attacked by foreign factors

For the Minister for Communes, Aristóbulo Istúriz, dialogue is being attacked from the outside. “Everything has to do with the orders that come from outside.” Ensuring that the opposition delegation participating in the dialogue table is under strong pressure.

“The dialogue is being bombarded so that it does not happen. There is a lot of interest outside the country so that the dialogue does not have results. From the outside, that great effort is being made so that the rupture of the dialogue ends in the non-participation of the opposition in the elections, because they already know the result”.

Istúriz referred to the criticisms and disqualifications against the process of dialogue by leaders of the Venezuelan right wing and figures of the international extreme right wing, such as Colombian presidents Álvaro Uribe and Andrés Pastrana, who, in their opinion, press the path of the violence and the street.

Yesterday, Monday, during the presentation of his annual message to the nation, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the intention of the opposition to withdraw from the presidential elections and thus “play ahead.”

Based on this complaint, the president formally requested the inclusion of the issue of the participation of the opposition in the presidential elections at the dialogue table.
