The Minister for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, explained this Saturday that the media war and the systematic attacks of foreign news agencies has not had an effect on the revolutionary people.
“International agencies have been dedicated to generating a situation of anguish and hopelessness that has not had any kind of success, the more they do attack us, the more clever the people of Venezuela gets on where those lies come from”, he said.
During a press conference to national and international media, from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, he indicated that the systematic media attack promoted by the media and agencies has the goal of “paving the way to achieve or seek what that they will never achieve: to bend the Venezuelan Homeland. To bend the people of Venezuela. ”
“Yesterday, President Nicolás Maduro showed the world a study in which can be verified a true psychological and communicational war against the people of Venezuela. He added that more than 10 daily news are published daily against Venezuela.
He also reported that the Reuters, AP and AFP news agencies, have broadcast news that make see that the country develops a war, when in reality there is a consolidated peace as a product of the last three electoral victories achieved in 2017 with the election of the National Constituent Assembly, the conquest of 19 Governorates in the regional elections and more than 300 Mayorships in the municipal elections.
