Ibero-American Public Ministries acknowledge the management of the Attorney Tarek William Saab

The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, presented on Monday a report of his participation in the 25th annual meeting of the Ibero-American Association of Public Ministries (AIAMP), held last week in Argentina.

At a press conference, the high official said that his inauguration as head of the judiciary penal action in Venezuela and defender of human rights was legitimized by his participation in the AIAMP.

“Venezuela assumed with dignity this participation that sets an ethical and moral precedent, with a Public Ministry that is strengthened, restructured and transformed”, he said.

In his speech, Saab explained that the recognition of his position was evident after his speech, with the right to speak and vote, in the debates and the signing of the minutes of the meeting.

In this order of ideas, in his statements the Prosecutor also announced that to date his office has attended a total of 43 requests for assistance in criminal matters from various Ibero-American nations, such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador , Spain, Panama, Portugal, Mexico, Uruguay, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Paraguay.
