Torres: Venezuela is an example for other countries in labor matters

Jacobo Torres, constituent, affirmed on Tuesday that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is an example of great achievements for other countries in labor matters. The constituent informed this Tuesday about the importance of the mission accomplished by the Venezuelan delegation that traveled to Montevideo to participate in the “Forum for Democracy and against Neoliberalism”.

Torres highlighted that “in Montevideo we show the reality of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, its progress, and we compare it with the decline in social matters of other countries,” noting that while the country achieved the reduction of working hours there are other countries where, on the contrary, these have increased, affecting in this way the labor force that has reduced the hours to carry out other activities.

The constituent noted that in that event participated more than 20 countries, which dealt with issues such as human rights, women’s equality, as well as the economic war that Venezuela is currently being a victim of.

In his opinion, Venezuela continues to be an example for other countries because once again the international community was shown the reality that exists in other countries where they are even fighting to obtain benefits that have already been approved in the country.

The information was provided during his participation in the “Dando y Dando” (Taking and giving) radio program, broadcast by RNV-Informative channel.
