Attack on La Carlota Air Base seeks an international intervention

The Constitutionalist lawyer, María Alejandra Díaz, said on Monday that “only a shock will make you aware of what we are living today in Venezuela, God forbid that from happening!”

“What we are living is the demonization of the other, we are talking about hate crimes, … The attack against the La Carlota (Military Air Base) is something planned, this has happened in other countries to seek a possible international intervention”, she said, while adding “in any Country where there is an attack on a Military Base, the officials have a duty to defend it”.

“Article 350 cannot be interpreted alone, the one that can apply this article is the National Constituent Assembly, … There can not be a transitional Government here, because here there is a Constituted Government, Any other than that it is a coup d’état.”

Finally, she emphasized that: “We go to the Constituent Assembly because it is the way to recover the institutionality that they (the opposition) have tried to fracture. Demanding the people not to go to vote is a fragrant violation of a human right that is the expression and the right to elect”.

She explained this during his participation in the “Encendidos” (TTurned On) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
